Originally built in 1875, Jaipur Railway Station is located in the heart of the city. Serving almost 35,000 passengers daily, Jaipur Junction is the busiest station in the state of Rajasthan.

The distance from Jaipur Airport to the railway station is 14 km, taking around 15 minutes by car. There are three ways to get from Jaipur Airport to Jaipur Railway Station: taxi, private transfer or bus. Taking a taxi or private transfer is the best method. How to get from Jaipur Airport to Jaipur Railway Station by bus

You can use public transportation to travel from Jaipur Airport to Jaipur Railway Station. There are two main services you can use. The AC 2 bus departs from Taro Ki Koot, close to the Jawahar Circle, and gets you to Jaipur Junction in around 40 minutes. However, you’ll first have to transfer from the airport to Jawahar Circle which is a 20-minute walk or a quick taxi ride.

Additionally, the 6A bus also departs from the Jawahar Circle and drops you off at Hotel Teej, which is a 10-minute walk from the train station. The service takes 50 minutes and is the only bus service departing from inside the airport complex. It’s important to note that the service often skips the airport and stops at Jawahar Circle instead.

The bus stops, such as Taro Ki Koot, are all located around the Jawahar Circle. It’s a 20-minute walk from the airport, just follow the signs. If you don’t fancy the long walk, we recommend taking a taxi.

Whilst taking the bus from Jaipur Junction to Jaipur Airport is very cheap, buses can be quite unreliable and you may end up waiting for a while. On top of that, it’s likely that you’ll need to walk or take a taxi to the airport from Jawahar Circle.
