Jersey is the largest island of the Channel Islands between France and England. St Helier is the picturesque capital of the island and one of the twelve parishes of Jersey. The city is home to over one-third of the population of Jersey, so there are plenty of exciting things to see and do. Be sure to check out the historic Elizabeth Castle, proudly towering above the English Channel, and the bustling Liberation Square, surrounded by cafes, shops and restaurants.
To make your way from Jersey Airport to St Helier, you can either take a taxi or private transfer, or the local bus. Local airport taxis will use a taximeter to calculate your fare but will cost around £20 (€23) and will take 20 minutes to reach your hotel or apartment in the centre. On the other hand, taking the bus from Jersey Airport to St Helier will take approximately 35 minutes and will cost £2.70 (€3) one-way.
Welcome Pickups offers meet and greet services and a friendly introduction to Jersey at the same price as a regular taxi. Click here to see the cost.
