Leeds is one of the country’s favourite cultural centres and is often referred to as the foodie capital of the North. Travellers visiting Leeds can expect to find many historic buildings and institutions to explore, as well as an array of activities for lovers of culture, architecture, fashion, or entertainment.
There are two ways to get from Leeds Bradford Airport to the Leeds train station; you can go by taxi or private transfer, or by bus. A Leeds taxi or private transfer is the fastest and easiest option as it takes around 20 minutes in light traffic and costs about £45 (€52.72), dropping you off right outside the train station. Alternatively, the A1 Flyer is the most direct bus service from Leeds Bradford Airport to Leeds Railway Station. A single ticket costs £5.50 (€6.53) and the service runs every 20-30 minutes from 05:10 in the morning until 00:05 at night. It takes about 40 minutes to reach City Square, the stop for Leeds Train Station, but keep in mind that the train station is a 6-7 minute walk from the bus stop, so make sure you allow yourself enough time to get there in time for your train.
