How to get from Limoges Airport to the City Centre

Another transfer option from Limoges airport to the city centre is to take a bus. During the summer season Line 26 bus picks up passengers from the airport three times a day every day except Sunday, at 7:15, 8:15, and 13:24 and the bus ride takes around 15 minutes. You can also take the Line 17 Bus throughout the year, but to do so, you will have to take a taxi or walk about 2 kilometres from the airport to the Verneuil sur V. – Le Breuil Bus Station. There is a Line 17 Bus departure four times daily at 9:23, 14:07, 16:55, and 18:05 and the trip takes around 20 minutes. Keep in mind Line 17 Bus doesn’t run on Sundays.

You can purchase a ticket that is valid for one hour on board the bus for just €1.60. You can also purchase one-hour tickets for €1.40 from the MyBus app or authorised points of sale. Kids under the age of four can ride for free. If you plan on using the bus frequently during your stay, you can also buy day passes or 10-trip ticket bundles.

Taking the bus from Limoges airport can be a great, cheap way to reach the city, depending on when your flight arrives. If your airport arrival time aligns with the Line 26 departure times, you can easily make a low-cost transfer to the city. However, the available buses only make 3-4 trips a day, while if you arrive later in the evening or on a  Sunday, there is no bus service so you’ll have to make different arrangements.
