Liverpool John Lennon Airport is a major transportation hub located on the outskirts of Liverpool. The airport offers flights to over 150 countries worldwide with carriers such as Easyjet, Blue Air, Loganair, Ryanair and Lufthansa.
When it comes to travelling from Liverpool Lime Street to the airport, you have three transfer options; taking a taxi, the public bus or a train. A Liverpool Lime Street taxi will take just 5 minutes to reach the airport and costs around £25 (€30). A budget option is the Arriva public bus, which costs just £2.10 (€3) per passenger and takes around 50 minutes to reach Liverpool airport. Your final transfer option is to take the train, but this isn’t very convenient as it isn’t direct. The total cost for the train will be around £6 (€7.50) and the journey time is approximately 50 minutes.
Welcome Pickups offers meet and greet services and a friendly introduction to Liverpool at the same price as a regular taxi. Click here to see the cost.
