Charlottetown is the capital of the lovely Prince Edward Island, one of Canada’s small maritime provinces on the southern coast. As the site of Canada’s Confederation, you’ll want to brush up on your history at Province and Government House, before heading to Victoria Row to soak up some island hospitality at one of the town’s many boutique and artisan stores, and cosy cafes and restaurants. To experience the heart and soul of the island, why not time your visit with the popular annual Ice City Festival or catch a live music performance around town?
The main ways of getting from Moncton Airport to Charlottetown are by taxi, private transfer, or a shared shuttle bus. An airport taxi is the most convenient option as they are available at any time of day, they are also the quickest, taking around 115 minutes during light traffic. The most affordable option is to take the shuttle bus, but you’ll need to book the service in advance, there’s only one shuttle per day, and the trip takes around 170 minutes, not including wait times.
Welcome Pickups offers meet and greet services and a friendly introduction to Moncton at the same price as a regular taxi. Click here to see the cost.
