How to get from Montpellier Airport to the Train Station (Montpellier Saint-Roch)

The bus is the only public transportation option that will take you from Montpellier Airport into the city to Place de l’Europe, which is a 16-minute walk from the train station. The 620 shuttle bus service takes 25 minutes to reach Place de l’Europe and runs every day of the week from 08:30 to 20:30, with buses operating every 30 minutes.

Three after-hours buses depart from Montpellier Airport daily at 21:45, 23:00 and 00:30.

Taking the bus from Montpellier Airport to Gare St Roch is very cost-effective and a good choice for anyone on a budget; a single-fare ticket only costs €1.60. You’ll have to be prepared to walk an extra 16 minutes before you reach St Roch train station though, after you get off at Place de l’Europe.

You don’t have to buy the tickets in advance; you can buy them from the driver when you board the bus.

Although the bus from Montpellier Airport to Montpellier St Roch is cheap, it can be inconvenient as it doesn’t drop you off at the train station. Since you’ll be travelling with luggage, you’ll have to drag it around for the extra walk.
