How to get from Pula Airport to Opatija

We don’t recommend travelling from Pula Airport to Opatija by bus because the journey is very long. The total duration is expected to be around 2 hours and 30 minutes, but only if your buses are perfectly on time. If you experience long waits, the trip’s duration increases.

You need to take two separate buses. The first is the shuttle bus from Pula Airport to Pula bus station. There is no set schedule for that bus but you can check the airport website as your travel date approaches for the most updated information. The estimated timetable is updated every week. The shuttle bus to Pula takes around 20 minutes.

Once you get to Pula bus station, you need to catch a second bus to Opatija. This bus has several stops so it takes about 2 hours.

The shuttle bus from Pula Airport to the bus station is €6 per person. 

The Autotrans by Arriva bus from Pula to Opatija is €13.30 per person if you book online. There may be a small increase if you buy your tickets in person. So roughly, you can expect to spend €19.30 per person in total to get to Opatija.

Taking a bus from Pula Airport to Opatija is not very convenient because you need two buses.
