How to get from Pula Airport to Rovinj

Public transportation mostly relies on buses in Pula and Rovinj. Luckily, there is a direct shuttle bus from Pula Airport to Rovinj. You can catch it from outside the terminal building at the airport and it’ll go directly to the Rovinj bus station. The journey should take around 40 minutes in light traffic.

Unluckily, the shuttle bus doesn’t have a set schedule. Instead, it departs 30 minutes after major flights land. This means that the availability of spaces on the bus and wait times can be unpredictable. Sometimes there are buses every hour, while other days there’s only one bus. 

After arriving at Rovinj bus station, you may need to walk a little or find another mode of transportation to get to your hotel or apartment.

The Pula Airport to Rovinj bus costs €25 per person depending on the time of day. Bear in mind that prices may be displayed in both euros and Croatian Kuna (HRK). However, euros are the official currency as of January 2023. You can purchase a ticket on the bus.

Taking the bus from Pula Airport to Rovinj is not the most convenient option. While it’s helpful that the bus is direct, the lack of official timetables makes travel planning more complicated. So if you want to reach your accommodation quickly and effortlessly, it’s recommended to opt for a taxi or private transfer instead.
