Mostar is a small, picturesque city in southern Bosnia and Herzegovina, mostly known for its iconic medieval old bridge over the Neretva river. Even though Mostar is a couple of hours away from the capital, if you’re travelling in the country it’s definitely worth a visit.
If you’re planning your visit directly from Sarajevo Airport, there are different ways to reach Mostar. The fastest transportation option to get there, even though a bit more costly, is by booking an airport taxi or taking one from the taxi stand at Sarajevo Airport. Alternatively, you can get there by bus or train but there isn’t a direct connection for either one. You’ll need first to take a bus to the city centre and from there either take the bus to Mostar or continue by train. This option will take longer but it’s more budget-friendly so you can choose whatever best matches your needs.
Welcome Pickups offers meet and greet services and a friendly introduction to Sarajevo at the same price as a regular taxi. Click here to see the cost.
