Hvar island is situated just off the Dalmatian coast and it’s known for wild parties and celebrity spotting. But even if that’s not your scene, Hvar still has a lot to offer: explore one of the remote white sand beaches, go inland to marvel at the lavender fields or arrange a wine tasting tour.
When making the journey from Split airpot to Hvar, you have two different options; taxi or bus. In both cases, you will need to make the transfer to Split port and then take the ferry across to Hvar island from there. Taking a Split airport taxi is the most convenient option as the total jurney time is only 2 hours to reach Hvar. On the other hand, taking the bus is a more budget-friendly option, as the total journey will cost €7.80.
Welcome Pickups offers meet and greet services and a friendly introduction to Split at the same price as a regular taxi. Click here to see the cost.
