Gudauri is a famous ski resort in Georgia, located on the south-facing plateau of the Greater Caucasus Mountain Range. It attracts thousands of skiers from all around the world but it’s a destination worth visiting even if you don’t ski at all. If you’re flying to Tbilisi, you can make your way from Tbilisi Airport to Gudauri either by taxi or by the local minibuses, known as ‘marshrutka’ buses.
You can take an airport taxi as soon as you land or pre-book a personalised private airport taxi from Tbilisi Airport to Gudauri to reach your destination quickly and comfortably. If you’re travelling on a budget and you’re feeling adventurous, you can choose the marshrutka buses; it can be a cheaper option for smaller groups but keep in mind that you’ll need to change different means of transport, passing through Tbilisi city centre on your way.
Welcome Pickups offers meet and greet services and a friendly introduction to Tbilisi at the same price as a regular taxi. Click here to see the cost.
