Getting from Tirana Airport to Ksamil

As there is no direct bus from Tirana Airport to Ksamil, opting for public transportation means you’ll need to take a taxi and 2 buses, making it quite a long and tiring journey. 

Firstly, you’ll need to take a taxi from Tirana Airport to the Intercity Bus Terminal, taking 25 minutes. From there, you can take the bus from Tirana to Saranda, taking 5 hours and costing €10 (ALL 1,053). Once you’ve arrived in Saranda, you can hop on a bus from Mother Theresa Square in central Saranda, in the direction of Butrint. It costs €0.80 (ALL 84) and takes just 10-15 minutes to reach Ksamil.

Altogether, the journey will take approximately 5 hours and 45 minutes and you’ll pay €20.80 (ALL 2,191). 

There are a few costs to add up for this route. The taxi ride from Tirana Airport to the bus terminal will cost you around €10 (ALL 1,053) and the bus from Tirana Saranda will also cost you €10 (ALL 1,053). Lastly, you’ll pay just €0.80 (ALL 84) for the bus from Saranda to Ksamil.
