Firstly, you’ll need to take a taxi from Tirana Airport to the Intercity Bus Terminal, taking 25 minutes. From there, you can take the bus from Tirana to Saranda, taking 5 hours and costing 10 (ALL 1,053). Once you’ve arrived in Saranda, you can hop on a bus from Mother Theresa Square in central Saranda, in the direction of Butrint. It costs 0.80 (ALL 84) and takes just 10-15 minutes to reach Ksamil.

Altogether, the journey will take approximately 5 hours and 45 minutes and you’ll pay 20.80 (ALL 2,191).

The Tirana-Saranda bus is available at: 05:30, 06:15, 07:30, 08:30, 09:45, 12:30, 16:00, 21:00, 22:00. The Saranda-Ksamil bus runes every 30-60 minutes between 06:30 and 17:10.

As you leave the arrivals hall, you’ll see the taxi rank in front of you. Once you’ve arrived at the bus terminal, you just need to check the timetables and find the next bus to Saranda. Upon arriving in Saranda, you’ll find the bus station in Mother Theresa Square, just hop on the next bus heading in the direction of Butrint.
