Getting from Verona Airport to Limone Sul Garda

The most inexpensive way to travel from Verona Airport to Limone Sul Garda is to take the bus. This option requires you to take four buses, starting with the 15-minute Airlink 199 from Verona Airport. You’ll arrive at Verona Porta Nuova, and from here, you’ll take the first of three Arriva buses, LN026, to Desenzano for 1 hour and 25 minutes. You’ll switch to LN007, disembarking at Salo after around 50 minutes. On arriving at Salo, you’ll board your last bus, LN027, to Limone Sul Garda, which will take a little under 1 hour. In total, this option will have a travel time of approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes.

On average, the Airlink 199 bus departs from Verona Airport every 20 minutes between 05:35 to 23:25, while the Arriva buses usually run from 07:10 to 20:00.

Catching the bus from Verona Airport to Limone Sul Garda will set you back around €19.50 in total. The Airlink 199 is €7, the LN026 to Desenzano costs €4.80, the LN007 to Salo will be around €3.50, and the LN027 to Limone Sul Garda should cost €4.20.

Tickets for the Airlink 199 are available from the machines in the Verona Airport Arrivals Hall or from the driver, while tickets for each Arriva bus (LN026, LN007, and LN026) can be purchased from the driver or via the Arriva MyPay mobile application.

Unfortunately, this option is inconvenient for a number of reasons. Not only will you need to take four buses, but you’ll also be subject to potentially long waiting times that can add a significant amount of time to the journey. Additionally, transferring between so many buses when travelling with luggage can be tedious.
