How to Get from Dulles to Reagan Airport

There is no direct metro line from Washington Dulles Airport to Ronald Reagan Airport. However, both airports have a metro station, and you only have to change metro lines once.

You will start your journey by boarding the Silver Largo Line. Near the end of your trip, you must change to the Blue Franconia-Springfield line at Foggy Bottom or the Yellow Huntington line at L’Enfant Plaza.

There are other transfer options depending on the time of day, but you will often need to change more than once if you choose another change. The metro takes 1 hour 30 minutes to reach Ronald Reagan Airport.

A one-way metro ticket from Dulles Airport to Ronald Reagan Airport will cost $6 (€5.70). Up to 2 children age 4 or younger travel free with each fare-paying adult.

Although finding the metro at Dulles International Airport is easy, it’s the least convenient option. You’ll have to change metro lines, at least once.
