The most direct and stress-free way to get from Krabi Airport to Railay Beach is to take a Krabi Airport taxi. A taxi can drop you off at either Klong Jilad Pier, Ao Nam Mao Pier, Rayavadee Pier, or even Ao Nang Pier, all of which take roughly 40 minutes to reach. Since the bus may make several stops along the way, you can expect a journey time of around 1 hour, plus the 30-minute boat ride. You can choose between the Krabi Airport to Krabi Town bus, or the bus to Ao Nang, just let your driver know that you’d like to go to the pier so that they can drop you as close as possible.

How much is the bus from Krabi Airport to Railay Beach?

The cost of a one-way ticket on the bus from Krabi Airport to Railay Beach will be €4.20 (THB 150) per person. You must purchase your ticket from the kiosks inside the airport before taking the bus. 

At the pier, you will need to purchase your boat ticket which costs €2.80 (THB 100) per person, bringing the total cost to €7 (THB 250).

The bus from Krabi Airport to Krabi Town runs between 06:00 and 22:00 from Terminal 1, and from 06:00 to 24:00 from Terminal 2.

There are bus stops clearly marked outside of both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 at Krabi Airport. You will see a blue and white sign and a route map with prices as soon as you exit the Baggage Claim area.

The pier isn’t on the normal bus route so the driver may not be willing to drop you directly where you need to go. In this instance, be prepared to walk, take a taxi, or jump in a tuk-tuk.

Although a cheap mode of transport, the Krabi Airport to Railay Beach bus option is the slowest and least convenient choice. You will need to wait for the bus to fill up, which can take up to an hour on slow days, and once you reach Krabi Town or Ao Nang, you may need to walk or take a taxi to the pier with any luggage you have.
