The picturesque Tuscan city of Lucca is situated 35 kilometers from Pisa International Airport (PSA). There are three modes of transport to choose from between Pisa Airport to Lucca; you can take a taxi, a Pisa Airport transfer, or a combined train journey.
A Pisa Airport taxi or private transfer will take around 30 minutes to reach your hotel in Lucca. If you’re after convenience and speed with a door-to-door drop-off, this is your safest option.
On the other hand, if you’re traveling on a budget, the train may be more suitable. This is the cheapest way to travel, although it requires taking the metro from the airport before transferring to a train in the city center. All up, the journey should take around 40 minutes.
*It’s not currently possible to travel from Pisa Airport to Lucca by bus as the E3 Line is no longer stopping at the airport due to building and road works.
