One of Bali’s first-ever tourist developments, Kuta is a vibrant resort and beach town located on the south end of the island. The consistent waves and party atmosphere of Kuta make it the perfect spot for young surfers and explorers to enjoy a unique time in Indonesia.
When it comes to travelling from Denpasar Airport to Kuta, you have three transfer options; taxi, private transfer or bus. Taking an airport taxi from Bali Airport to the resort town of Kuta is by far the easiest and most convenient option. The journey time in a taxi will be just 10 minutes and the cost will be around €8 (IDR 120,000).
Alternatively, you can take a Teman Bus from the airport. The journey should take around 30 minutes and costs just €0.27 (IDR 4400), although there are no official timetables and the service can be unreliable.
Welcome Pickups offers meet and greet services and a friendly introduction to Bali at the same price as a regular taxi. Click here to see the cost.
