How to get from Bali airport to Seminyak
When making the 10.5 km journey from Bali airport to Seminyak, you have two different transfer options; taxi or bus. You will purchase your taxi ticket from one of the official kiosks and then present it to your driver. If you prefer, you can step out of the airport and take a "Blue Bird" taximeter taxi.
No matter what time you land in Bali airport, you can take a comfortable taxi ride into Seminyak. No need to worry about waiting in line, keeping your belongings safe or navigating public transport in a foreign language.
With the current exchange rate and length of the journey, taxi fare from Bali airport to Seminyak is extremely reasonable. In many other cities a journey of this length would cost triple.

Unfortunately, there's no direct bus from Bali airport to Seminyak. Instead, you will need to take the Trans Sarbagita bus to Kura and then change to the Kura-Kura bus to reach Seminyak. The total journey time is at least 55 minutes but could be much longer with possible waiting times.
How much is the bus from Bali airport to Seminyak?
As there's no direct bus from Bali airport to Seminyak, you will need to take two busses. The Trans Sarbagita bus to Kura costs 0.22€ (3,500 IDR) one-way, as does the Kura-Kura bus into Seminyak, making the total journey cost 0.44€ (7,000 IDR). Tickets must be purchased in cash.

Where do I get it from?
The Trans Sarbagita Bus can be found just outside of the Passenger Terminal at Bali Airport. Simply head through the exit doors and turn left. You will soon see the blue Sarbagita signs above you.
Although taking the bus from Bali airport to Seminyak is cheap, it's not at all convenient. Not only do you need to change buses in Kura, meaning you will need to carry your heavy luggage around the city, but if you land after 10 pm, no buses run. Once you reach the station in Seminyak, you will also need to find alternate transport to reach your accommodation.
If you're travelling on a tight budget, then taking the bus may seem like a great transfer option. However, if you are carrying heavy luggage or arrive after 10pm, we recommend taking an airport taxi.
