Letterkenny (‘Leitir Ceanainn’ in Irish) is the largest city in County Donegal. It is located 148 km (92 mi) west of Belfast and is a significant economic hub for the north-west of Ireland.
If you plan to travel from Belfast Airport to Letterkenny, you have two options: an airport taxi or a bus. Given the distance, a taxi is the most comfortable way to get to Letterkenny. Allow 2 hours to reach your destination. The bus trip, while also quick, is not a direct route. You must take a bus from Belfast Airport to Derry and then hop on another bus to reach Letterkenny. Allow 2 hours for the bus journey, but add extra time for transferring and boarding.
Welcome Pickups offers meet and greet services and a friendly introduction to Belfast at the same price as a regular taxi. Click here to see the cost.
