The airport Feeder bus 16-14 operates Monday-Saturday from 05:00 to 22:45 and on Sundays from 06:00 - 21:45, whilst the MK86 operates Monday to Friday from 04:15 to 22.45, Saturday from 06:00 to 22.45 and Sunday from 06:00 to 21:45.

Where do I get it from?

The El Dorado airport buses are all operated by TransMilenio / SITP and leave from the Portal El Dorado bus station which is located a few kilometres away from the International Arrivals Hall. In order to get there, you can take the free Feeder airport shuttle which can be found outside Exit 6, on Terminal 1’s first floor.

Each Transmilenio route is clearly marked by a letter and number, each letter (for example, M or J) mean different zones around the city.

Taking the bus from Bogota airport to Chapinero is a more cost-savvy transportation option. Although you will need to take a transit bus at “Portal Eldorado T-6A” in order to reach your destination, buses in Bogata have their own lanes, which helps with traffic.

Nevertheless, as taxis in Bogota are cheap, it is always the preferred way to travel.

If you are in a hurry, and haven’t had time to purchase your Tullave card, you can always ask a traveller to buy your ticket and you can pay them back in cash. This is very common for airport bus rides and it is not prohibited.
