The metro route to Palermo is the most complex of the four. First, take the airport shuttle bus to Madero in Buenos Aires city center. This leg of the journey takes 50 minutes. The shuttle departs every hour from 06:00 to 22:00 every day. 

Then, walk to Leandro N. Alem Station and take the metro Line B to Catedral Station. 

Finally, the Line D goes to Palermo Station. The metro journeys take around 30-40 minutes. Therefore, the combined trip takes 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete.

This route is the least convenient route out of the four because it requires two changes and takes a long time. If you’re going to take public transport, the best route is to hop on the No.8 bus, not the airport shuttle. However, this is an option if all else fails!
