The capital of Baja California Sur, La Paz is known for its stunning beaches, seafront promenade, parks and vibrant art scene. The best airport to fly into is Los Cabos International Airport (SJD). It’s located approximately 195 km from La Paz, with a journey time of around 2 hours.
You can choose between three modes of transportation from SJD to La Paz; taxi, private transfer or bus. The quickest and most hassle-free way to get to La Paz is by taxi or private shuttle, as the service is door-to-door.
Alternatively, you can take the shuttle bus, costing €34 (MXN 628) for a one-way ticket. The bus is direct and a good budget choice. Just bear in mind that there are only a few buses a day, so if you’re arriving at night or don’t want to wait around, you’ll need to take a taxi or private transfer.
