There is no public transport from Grenada Airport that covers this journey. There is a public bus service on the island but it does not run to or from the Grenada Airport. The bus depot is close to the cruise port in St. George’s, so you can easily take a bus to other popular sights, like Grand Anse Valley once you’ve already reached the capital’s centre by taxi.

Taking a taxi or private transfer from Grenada Airport (GND) to St. George’s is simple. Local taxis are available 24/7 from the airport and can usually cater both to smaller and larger groups. Your journey shouldn’t take longer than 25 minutes in normal traffic, but it can take up to 40 minutes if there is a lot of congestion around the city or when leaving the airport.

Taxis are readily available from outside of Maurice Bishop International Airport (GND). The airport is relatively small, with just one terminal building. Outside of the terminal, you’ll find a fast-collection point and a taxi stand. 

On busy flight days, there may be a wait of up to 20 minutes for an available cab, however, this is rare. The airport is usually well-serviced by taxis so you shouldn’t have to wait longer than 10 minutes.
