Getting from Grenada Airport to Grand Anse

Grenada is a beautiful Caribbean island with so much to offer. Grand Anse means “Big Bay” in French, and it certainly lives up to its name. It’s one of the most-loved beaches on the island with fine white sand and a sparkling turquoise sea.

Transport from Grenada Airport to Grand Anse is limited. The most convenient method is to take a taxi or private transfer. It will take just 6 minutes to do the 5 km journey. Alternatively, you can take a bus from St. George’s city centre. You would need to take a taxi to St. George’s first and then a bus from the depot to Grand Anse. We don’t recommend this route because it can take a long time. Buses in Grenada don’t have set schedules or routes.

For an even more reliable, personalised option, we suggest booking a private transfer with an international company like Welcome Pickups. We’ll get you to Grand Anse’s centre or the door of your hotel or apartment promptly, in comfort and style, so that you can focus on enjoying your island holiday.

Welcome Pickups offers meet and greet services and a friendly introduction to Grenada at the same price as a regular taxi. Click here to see the cost.
