How to get from Katowice Airport to Katowice Train Station

There’s a direct Katowice Airport bus to the train station that runs 24 hours a day. The AP bus line takes around 50 minutes to reach Katowice Central Railway Station and costs just €1.50 (PLN 7) for a single 90-minute ticket.

The cost of a ticket on the public buses in Katowice is based on the trip’s duration. There are tickets for journeys up to 20 minutes, 40 minutes and 90 minutes. For the journey from Katowice train station to the airport, and vice versa, you will need to purchase a 90 minutes ticket, which costs €1.50 (PLN 7).

Although the AP Katowice Airport bus to the train station is direct, it doesn’t drop you off right at its door. You will need to walk around 165 metres from the bus stop to the actual train station, which can be difficult if there’s snow or you have a lot of luggage.
