Taking the ferry is less convenient, but cheaper; you have to take the bus to Georgetown for around €0.50 (MYR 2.50) and once there, take the ferry to the mainland for around €0.20 (MYR 1). This scenic route takes between 2 and 3 hours, so make sure you have the time!
