Poznan Glowny, also known as Poznan Main, is the main transportation hub in Poznan, Poland, connecting the city to both domestic and international destinations via an extensive train and bus network. Built in 1879, the building provides modern facilities to millions of passengers a year while still showcasing its rich history through its neoclassical architecture.
Whether you choose to travel from Poznan Airport to Poznan Glowny by airport taxi or public bus, you can reach your destination fairly quickly and affordably. Travelling by taxi takes as little as 10 to 15 minutes, depending on traffic, and will set you back around €7 (PLN30) for up to 4 people if you choose a local cab. The public bus option is even cheaper at just €1.40 (PLN 6) per person but it does have a longer journey time of 23 minutes, and if you’re travelling in a group, the taxi option works out nearly as affordable anyway.
Welcome Pickups offers meet and greet services and a friendly introduction to Poznan at the same price as a regular taxi. Click here to see the cost.
