Getting from Rijeka Airport to Pula

Taking a bus from Rijeka Airport to Pula city centre is an affordable mode of transport between these two destinations. There isn’t a direct bus, so you will first need to take a shared shuttle bus from the airport to Jelačićev Square Bus Station in Rijeka city centre, which takes approximately 40 minutes. From there, you will need to walk for up to 10 minutes to Rijeka Central Bus Station where you can board an Autotrans bus towards Pula or Rovinj, which takes 135 minutes, disembarking at Pula Central Bus Station. The total journey time by bus comes to around 175 minutes, not including any wait times.

*Alternatively, there is a Flixbus service that departs once a day at 05:10 from Rijeka Central Bus Station directly to Pula Central Bus Station which is much quicker, taking 85 minutes, and costing €19.99 per traveller. Given the departure time, you may need to take a taxi from the airport to the bus station as the shuttle may not be running at this hour.
