Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, more commonly known as Ahmedabad Airport, is an international airport serving the Gujarat region of India. The airport was named after the first deputy Prime Minister of India; Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Ahmedabad Airport sees over 10 million passengers through its doors each year, making it the 7th busiest airport in India.
There is no public transport to cover this journey, so unless you’re renting your own car, to get from Ahmedabad Railway Station to the airport, you have two options; taking a local taxi or pre-booking a private transfer. The journey time for each will be 15 minutes and the cost of a local Ahmedabad taxi to the airport will be approximately €3.50 (INR 300).
Welcome Pickups offers meet and greet services and a friendly introduction to Ahmedabad at the same price as a regular taxi. Click here to see the cost.
