First, you will need to take the free 5-minute ‘MIA Mover’ tram from the main passenger terminal to the Airport Station. You’ll then take a 15-minute Orange Line Metrorail train from Miami International Airport Southbound platform of the Airport Station, to the Government Center Station Rail. You will then walk out of the metro station and switch to the Metrobus 110 bus from Stephen P Clark Center to Op Fountain St (located at the Cruise Port).

The total journey time will be around 50 minutes when taking the public transport from Miami Airport to Miami Port.

How much is the metro from Miami Airport to the Port of Miami?

Taking the train from Maimi Airport to the Cruise Port is the cheapest transfer option. The MIA Mover is a complimentary service and a one-way ticket on the Metrorail and Metrobus will cost $2.25 (€2) each. This gives a total cost of $4.50 (€4) for taking the train and bus to Miami Port.

Where do I get the metro from?

To reach the dedicated Airport Ground Level Station, you will need to take the complimentary MIA Mover tram. This tram is available from the main terminal building, located on the 3rd level between the Dolphin and Flamingo garage, and will take just 5 minutes to reach the airport train station.

Once at the Airport Ground Level Station, you will make your way over to the Miami International Airport Southbound platform, to take the Orange Line Metrorail into the city center of Miami.

Although taking the metro and bus is the most budget-friendly transfer option, it’s the slowest and least convenient.
