Bergamo is the epitome of an authentic Italian town. Situated in the north, it treats visitors to a welcoming atmosphere, enchanting cobbled streets, and medieval architecture. This town is one of Italy’s few remaining ‘best-kept secrets’ and is perfect if you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Milan Bergamo Airport, also known as Orio al Serio International Airport, is one of three airports serving Bergamo and Milan. Situated around 7 km from Bergamo city centre, the drive takes around 15 minutes by car. There are three transport options when travelling from Bergamo Airport to Bergamo: taxi, private transfer, or bus. Taking a taxi or private transfer is the most comfortable choice, taking just 15 minutes door-to-door. Alternatively, you can hop on the ATB Airport Bus to the city centre of Bergamo for €3. Just keep in mind that you’ll have to make your way from the station to your hotel.
Welcome Pickups offers meet and greet services and a friendly introduction to Milan at the same price as a regular taxi. Click here to see the cost.
