The bus to Sayulita isn’t located inside the airport, you will need to cross the highway to reach the bus stop. To do this, look to your left once you exit the arrivals hall and you will see a pedestrian bridge crossing the highway. Walk over the bridge and you will see the Compostela bus stop clearly marked in front of you.

Convenience

Although the Compostela public bus is a good option for those travelling on a budget, it’s a very slow transfer option. It will take at least 1 hour and 30 minutes to get from Puerto Vallarta airport to Sayulita and you will need to carry your bags across the highway in the hot sun to get to the bus stop. Once you’re in Sayulita, you may also need to find alternate transportation to get to your hotel.
