Located in the snow-covered mountains of Graubünden in the Swiss Alps, Davos is a well-known ski resort and home of the annual World Economic Forum. During the winter months, you can enjoy cross-country skiing and even take a train ride through glaciers. In the warmer months, Davos comes alive with a thick green forest, hiking trails, mountain biking and even a spot for swimming, in the shimmering Lake Davos.
To reach this magical place, you have two ways to get from Zurich Airport to Davos; taxi or train. An airport taxi or private transfer will take around 1 hour and 50 minutes to reach Davos and if you’re taking a local cab it will cost about €400. On the other hand, the indirect train route will take closer to 2 hours and 40 minutes but will cost just €50 per person.
Welcome Pickups offers meet and greet services and a friendly introduction to Zurich at the same price as a regular taxi. Click here to see the cost.
