Getting from Geneva Airport to Courchevel

The Courchevel ski resort, in southeast France, is one of the largest in the world. Located 180 kilometers from Geneva Airport, your accommodation is best reached by a 2-hour and 10-minute car journey.

All up, there are four different transport methods to choose from: a Geneva Airport taxi, a private transfer, a train, or a shuttle bus. Taking a local taxi or a pre-arranged Geneva Airport transfer is the fastest and only direct way to travel. For budget-conscious travelers, consider the perks of a fixed fare price when considering a taxi versus a private transfer.

Alternatively, in the wintertime, there is also the option of a shuttle bus from Geneva to Courchevel. This is ideal for solo travelers with luggage, as you’ll be dropped right into the center of Courchevel, or even at your resort. Bonus points – it’s also very affordable!

Lastly, you can opt for the train. This is the least convenient way to travel and isn’t recommended unless you’re making the journey in summer when the bus isn’t available. AT 4 hours long, this is the slowest transfer option, plus it requires 2-3 changes, which can be tricky to manage with children or bulky items.

Welcome Pickups offers meet and greet services and a friendly introduction to Geneva at the same price as a regular taxi. Click here to see the cost.
