Getting to Pattaya from Suvarnabhumi airport (BBK) couldn't be cheaper, as a one-way ticket on the Airport Pattaya bus costs €3.40 (120 Baht). You can purchase your bus ticket from one of the designated counters at the airport's arrivals hall.
There is a waiting time of up to 1 hour for the Airport Pattaya bus.
The Airport Pattaya bus is available everyday from 07:00 to 22:00.
Where do I get it from?
You can find the Airport Pattaya bus stop just outside gate 8 on Level 1 at Suvarnabhumi airport arrivals hall.
If you are travelling on a budget, taking the Airport Pattaya bus from Suvarnabhumi airport (BBK) is the best option for you, as tickets only cost €3.40 (120 Baht). However, if you miss your bus, you will have to wait for the next one (around 1 hour), adding onto your 2 hour trip to the city centre. Moreover, once you reach Pattaya, you will either have to walk to your accommodation or find another way to get there.
Please note that during the day, the Airport Pattaya bus stops at Bangkok-Pattaya hospital, opposite the Big C in South Pattaya before finishing at Thappraya Road office. However, at night (between 21:00 and 22:00), the bus stops at North Pattaya bus station instead.
During peak times, the Airport Pattaya bus uses the Toll Express in order to reduce the travel time (at no extra cost).
