The most budget-friendly mode of transport to get to the train station is to take a bus and a train. For the first leg of your journey, you’ll need to catch the Airlink Bus to Genoa Sestri Ponente Train Station, taking just 5 minutes. From here, you can get on a train straight to Piazza Principe. The total trip duration is approximately 40 minutes.

How much is the train from Genoa Airport to Piazza Principe Train Station?

A one-way ticket for the Airlink is €1.50 one way and the train costs €2 to get to Piazza Principe. However, you can purchase your tickets together on the Trenitalia website and you’ll pay just €1.60 for the ticket combination.
