A charming seaside town popular amongst Italians and foreign tourists alike, Rapallo is a quaint, easily-walkable town with a peaceful vibe. Boasting a palm-lined waterfront, narrow streets, a fascinating Old Town and stunning terracotta, pink and mustard Ligurian buildings, it’s a great place to visit if you’re after an authentic Italian experience.
You have three options for your transport from Genoa Airport to Rapallo; taxi, private transfer or train. The quickest and most reliable way to get there is by taxi or private transfer, taking 30 minutes in normal traffic.
For a cheaper option, you can opt to use the train service. However, you’ll have to catch the AMT Volabus to one of the train stations first, making it the longest transfer. The trip takes around 1 hour and 20 minutes in total and will cost you approximately €10.
Welcome Pickups offers meet and greet services and a friendly introduction to Genoa at the same price as a regular taxi. Click here to see the cost.
