As you exit the Baggage Claim area, follow the signs toward “Taxis and Transportation”, which will lead you to a corridor with several taxi vendors offering their services. Prices set by the local government should be listed at each counter; be sure to confirm the price verbally.

While this option isn’t direct, it’s a safe and comfortable way to reach the ferry terminal in Puerto Juárez. Just keep in mind you’ll need to make at least 2 changes.

The buses leave from Terminals 2, 3, and 4 and travel to ADO’s central terminal in downtown Cancun in around 30–35 minutes.

Once downtown, you’ll need to transfer to the Puerto Juárez ferry terminal, where ferries depart to Isla Mujeres. You can do this by taxi or local bus. The ride takes about 10–15 minutes, depending on traffic.

Once at Puerto Juárez, you can hop on the next Ultramar ferry to Isla Mujeres.
