Located in the very heart of the Yucatan Peninsula, Valladolid is a beautifully traditional Mexican city. Its colourful colonial buildings house deliciously local restaurants, cafes and handicraft stores. The city centre is also home to the 16th-century Convent of San Bernardino of Siena and Casa de los Venados, a museum filled with folk art and furniture. To cool off after a day of exploring, you can visit one of the many magical cenotes located just out of the city centre of Valladolid.
