Beaches are an integral part of Perth’s lifestyle, and the city has plenty of nearby places to swim, practise water sports or socialise with friends and family. Along with Fremantle and Scarborough, Cottesloe (or ‘Cott’ as locals call it) is one of Perth’s favourite beaches. This small seaside town, 29 km from Perth Airport, is loved for its long white sandy beach and buzzing atmosphere.
You can choose between two modes of transport to get there. A taxi or a private transfer is the quickest and most convenient option from Perth Airport to Cottesloe. They are available 24/7, and the journey time is approximately 30 minutes. On the other hand, if you are looking for a more budget-friendly option, you can take the train. However, please note that the train is not a direct route from Perth Airport so the journey time can take up to 60 minutes, not including waiting time.
Welcome Pickups offers meet and greet services and a friendly introduction to Perth at the same price as a regular taxi. Click here to see the cost.
