Mandurah is a charming coastal town 80 km south of Perth Airport. Known for its seafront and numerous waterways, it has become a popular holiday resort and Western Australia’s hub for fishing and crabbing. The waters of the Mandurah Estuary host a large number of dolphins and other notable sea life, while the blue manna crab thrives in the area. The crabbing tradition is so widespread that there’s even a Crab Festival celebrated every March.
When your flight has landed at Perth International Airport (PER), there are three possible ways to reach Mandurah: a taxi, the train, or a shared shuttle. A Perth Airport taxi or private transfer will take about an hour to cover the 80 km distance. The train journey — including transfers in downtown Perth — lasts 1 hour and 40 minutes. Lastly, the shared shuttle minibus gets to Mandura’s CBD hotels in approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Welcome Pickups offers meet and greet services and a friendly introduction to Perth at the same price as a regular taxi. Click here to see the cost.
