The East Perth Terminal lies just 2.5 km from the city centre. It is the area’s hub for all Western Australian and interstate train services and the local Midland and Airport train lines. If you’ve taken the world-renowned scenic Indian Pacific train from Sydney to Perth, the East Perth terminal will be your final stop.
When you disembark your train, there are two possible ways to get from East Perth Terminal to Perth Airport: a taxi or the local train. Without too much traffic, a local taxi or private transfer will take you to the airport in around 15 minutes. Conversely, the train takes 23 minutes in total (including transfer time) to call at the six stations until it arrives at the airport.
