Whether you are departing from the Domestic or International Terminal, the Airtrain station is within easy walking distance. From the Domestic Terminal, head towards the Skywalk located just outside the terminal where you’ll find the station. At the International Terminal, the Airtrain station is located on Level 3.

Change trains at Bowen Hills, Central Station or Roma Street station to the green Ipswich Line, heading towards Rosewood. Depending on where you change lines, your onward journey to Ipswich station will take up to 1 hour and 5 minutes.

There is no direct bus route from the airport, you must first take the 28-minute Airport Airtrain to Roma Street station. Once you disembark, walk the short distance to Brisbane Coach Terminal adjacent to platform 10, where you can catch a Greyhound bus to Ipswich that takes 45 minutes.

Keep in mind that this service operates on a restricted timetable with only one service a day from Monday to Friday at 07:00.
