How to get from Brisbane Airport to Noosa Heads

If you wish to travel on the shared shuttle bus available at Brisbane airport, then taking the Con-X-ion shuttle bus is a great option for you, especially if you are looking for a public transportation method that doesn’t require a connection. The Con-X-ion shuttle bus provides shared rides with other passengers, for multiple pickups and door-to-door drop-offs. The overall trip from Brisbane airport to Noosa Heads should take around 1 hour 55 minutes.

A one-way ticket on the Con-X-ion shuttle bus from Brisbane Airport (BNE) to Noosa Heads costs €41 ($65 AUD) and a return costs €70 ($109 AUD). Children under the age of 3 years travel for free, however, they will need to be seated on one of their parent’s laps.

You will firstly have to take the R700 bus from the airport to Brisbane Coach Terminal, taking around 30 minutes, and then take the Greyhound connecting bus, line GX443, from there to Noosa Junction in the city centre, taking another 2 hours 10 minutes. The overall travel time should take around 2 hours 40 minutes, excluding any waiting time. Your other option would be to take a taxi to Roma Street busway in Brisbane and take the bus to Noosa from there.

A one-way bus ticket from Brisbane airport to the central Brisbane bus station costs €2. From there you can take your Greyhound bus to Noosa, with a one-way ticket on the Greyhound costing €20 ($32 AUD) or you can also purchase an early bird ticket online in advance for the price of €18 ($28 AUD).

Although the cheapest option, taking the bus is not the most practical for a few reasons.
