How to get from Budapest airport to main train station by bus

Unfortunately, the bus network of Budapest is not directly connected with the main train station. In fact, in order to get there, you may have to change means of transport more than once. Two different routes can be followed. You will have to either take the bus 100E, get off at Deák Ferenc tér metro station and switch to the M2 (red) metro line towards Örs vezértere, or get on the bus 200E, stop at its’ terminus, Kobanya-Kispest, and then take first the M3 (blue) metro line, get off at Kálvin tér and finally take M4 (green) line towards Keleti
pályaudvar.

How much is the bus from Budapest airport to main train station?

Regular tickets for the airport shuttle bus 100E cost 3€ (900 HUF) per person and can be purchased from the customer service centres, newsagents, ticket offices or ticket vending machine in the arrivals hall.
