Travelers heading to Aranjuez from Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD) can choose from five main transportation options to reach their destination: taxi, a Madrid Airport transfer, bus, metro, or the suburban rail.
For ease and comfort, a local Madrid Airport taxi or private transfer is the most convenient choice. With a journey time of 45 minutes, you’ll be dropped right at the curb of your hotel, which is ideal for families and those traveling with luggage.
Alternatively, for solo travelers, backpackers, or anyone on a budget, there are three public transport options, although they all require a transfer in the city center to the suburban rail line.
The metro and bus, combined with the train, both have a journey time of around 1 hour and 15 minutes and will set you back the same cost. These options require buying two separate tickets, which might not be ideal for some. Otherwise, you can opt for the cheapest transport mode of transport by riding the suburban rail the entire way, which takes slightly longer.
Welcome Pickups offers meet and greet services and a friendly introduction to Madrid at the same price as a regular taxi. Click here to see the cost.
