The bus to Nafplio usually takes a further 1 hour and 50 minutes, bringing the total journey time to 2 hours and 50 minutes, without factoring in wait or transfer times.

*There isn’t a direct train from Athens Airport to Nafplio so the bus is the most streamlined choice if you’re using public transport.

Buses are constantly available from the airport as well as the KTEL station, however, the journey is quite long as you’ll need to take multiple buses which often have long wait times.
