Barcelona airport taxis are by far the most convenient and fastest mean of transportation to the cruise port since there is not any direct public transportation option. Moreover, the taxi fare can be split with fellow travelers to significantly lower the cost.
Travelers are not allowed to flag down any moving taxi vehicle. It is necessary to head to the railed taxi waiting area at the front of the taxi line and an airport service staff will help you get a taxi.
In case you want to make a complaint, ask for the receipt at the end of your journey. All taxi drivers are obliged to give you a receipt upon request.
It is advised to book in advance special taxi vehicles such as mini vans or for people with disabilities, in order to avoid waiting at queue lines in front of the taxi desk.

Although the bus option requires a metro connection to reach the port, the overall experience is quite acceptable due to the availability and well designed network of Barcelona's public transportation system.
