Directions for your Almaty Airport Taxi to Almaty City Centre
Almaty International Airport (ALA) is Kazakhstan’s largest airport and one of Central Asia’s busiest airports, serving over 6 million travellers yearly. Located 15km northeast of Downtown Almaty, it takes around 35 minutes to reach.
So when travelling from the airport to Almaty city centre, your Welcome driver will exit the airport and follow signs for the A-351 highway towards the centre. After 14km, they will take the exit towards Tole Bi Street and continue straight until they reach the Abai Avenue Intersection. Your driver will then turn right onto Abai Avenue and continue until they reach Almaty city centre. Directions will vary from there depending on the exact location of your accommodation.
